Shepherd Mwanawashe is an accomplished international researcher. He holds a Masters in Development Economics (specializing in Human Development and Food Security) from Roma Tre University. Master in Monitoring and Evaluation from UTAMU and Ph.D. in Global Agriculture and Food Security at the University of Edinburgh. As a researcher, Shepherd has vast experience in both quantitative and qualitative research in Agriculture and Food Security, Education Development, Child Protection, Global Health, Gender, Climate Change, and Monitoring and Evaluation. He received training in project management and EU Framework Contract Management. He gained his experience in research through working with various clients from NGOs, INGOs, Donors, the UN Group, Government Ministries, and the Private sector. His experience has been established throughout Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Italy. He is a multilingual and experienced development consultant in program design, monitoring, and evaluation and he has good computer skills, proposal, and report writing skills.
Tinozivashe Dzingai hold a Bachelors degree in Education from Great Zimbabwe University. Currently, he is a Masters candidate at UTAMU studying towards Monitoring and Evaluation. Tinozivashe is an experienced education consultant with experience in curriculum development, literacy and numeracy, capacity building, child protection, child marriages, gender and education development. He gained experience in the socio-economic development sector of Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Botswana. He is a multilingual expert who can speak English, Shona, Ndebele, Vendor, and Tonga. He has good report-writing and facilitation skills. He has experience working with both local and international NGOs, UN agencies, and government ministries in program design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
Peter John Jarvis is an Agricultural Economist and Monitoring & Evaluation Expert. Peter is a highly experienced Agricultural Economist with additional skills in Agribusiness, Food Security, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Farm Extension Services. He has been employed as a researcher with Land care Research Ltd, a New Zealand Crown Research Institute (6 years), and as a Regional Agricultural Economist (16 years). Peter has managed field operations on-farm, and for large field surveys in the agriculture and health sectors. As a regional agricultural economist in New Zealand, Peter led teams of consultants in regional and sector level studies. He carried out a wide range of agricultural and rural surveys in Sub-Saharan African, Asia, Europe and America.
Divya is a nutrition specialist, registered dietician, professor and consultant with over 18 years of experience and technical expertise in general nutrition, child nutrition (infant, toddler, pre-teens and adolescents), HIV nutrition and prenatal nutrition. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) – Walden University, School of Public Policy/Administration, Minneapolis, MN, USA ; Major: Public Policy and Administration, with International NGOs specialty (Graduated November 2015); Master’s in Public Health (MPH) – Tulane University, School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine, New Orleans, LA, USA; Major; Public Health Nutrition (Graduated May 2002). She has been extensively involved with program management, program development, clinical assessment, research, consulting, grant-writing, nutrition counseling, academic and informal teaching, training, non-profit development and capacity building. In addition, she acquired hands-on experience in working in impoverished communities. Divya gained proficiency in management, organization, and verbal/written communication skills.
Dr. Peter Hayombe is a Doctor of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA. He has Master of Public Health and Epidemiology and Bachelor of Education Science both from Kenyatta University, Kenya. He is currently the Executive Director of Khasto Consultants- Research and Development Division. He is a public health expert with sixteen years’ experience working on large donor projects in health care delivery planning, monitoring and evaluation. Some of his recent work includes the coordination, planning, management and implementation of the 2017 – 2018 national Malaria Indicator Survey for South Sudan, where he is a coordinator in a technical working group of a pool of health experts (UNICEF, GF, WHO, MC, MSM, IMA, RBM, MOH/NMCP) that are part of an extensive health reform programme in South Sudan. He has previously coordinated two national Malaria Indicator Surveys in Sierra Leone and Guinea Equatorial. Dr. Hayombe is a tutor with Geneva Foundation of Medical Research and Education in Sexual and Reproductive Health Research, (http://www.gfmer.ch/country-coordinators/Peter-Otieno-Khayombe.htm). Prior to being an independent consultant, he was working in Khasto Consultants. While there, he was involved in planning, monitoring, and evaluating a number of Maternal and New Born Child Health, Nutrition, Livelihood, and Food Security and Water, Hygiene and Sanitation projects including projects to remap, design, and strengthen the healthcare delivery system in Africa. He is also experienced and knowledgeable in Family Planning, Malaria, and TB, HIV, and AIDS projects.
Courage Mpofu is a certified Research, Evaluation & Project Management Professional with 12 years of experience and technical expertise in implementing developmental programs & projects. Courage has coordinated national, regional and international projects in thematic areas that include; Public Health; Science, Technology & Innovation; Education; Agriculture; Gender; Renewable Energy; and Sustainable Environment & Resource Management. He is experienced in designing and conducting evaluations (baseline, midline and endline); program & project management; and strategic planning, report and grant writing. Courage holds a Master of Science Public Administration & a Bachelor of Science Honours Psychology Degrees, both obtained from the University of Zimbabwe; Diploma in Project Management; Certificates in Program Management & Evaluation; and Research Management, both obtained from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa; Certificates in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning, Project Management, Good Clinical Practice, and Gender M&E. Courage has managed programs and projects funded by SIDA, IDRC, DFID, USAID, UNICEF, and Care International. He has a proven track record of successfully managing projects in Government, Private and Non-Governmental sectors. Courage’s global expertise covers different countries including Rwanda, South Africa, Malawi, China, Tanzania, and Kenya.
Gift Murombo is an Education, Child Protection, Gender, SRH/HIV and Capacity Building Consultant. He has 14 years of experience in program design, monitoring and evaluation and capacity building. He gained his experience in the SADC region where he did a lot of assignments in the education and gender development. Recently, he completed the Baseline and Midline of the IGATE GEC-T Project in Zimbabwe. He was the Team Leader proving his expertise in EGRA, EGMA, SEGRA and SEGMA. Murombo was also the team leader for the regional study of UNFPA, the evaluation of TuneMe project that was covering Malawi, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and South Africa. Amander Bgwirire is a data analyst with so many talents such as result oriented and self motivated young professional aiming to fit within multi-environments. She has extensive knowledge in analysing, modelling and reporting big data using tools such R programming, SAS, , SQL, Power BI and Excel. She has a lot of experience on data collection, developing data collection tools, entry and analysis with Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (ZIMSTAT) from 2018-2022. She participated in the regional and National projects which are 2019 Labour force and Child labour survey, 2021 Household targeting survey in collaboration with Social Welfare, 2022 Macro Small and Medium Enterprises Survey carried out by ZIMSTAT in collaboration with the Ministry of Women affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises development, 2022 Finscope Consumer Survey in collaboration with with Finmark Trust and 2022 Population and Housing Census upto Post enumeration survey and matching exercise on the Census data and PES data. Amander holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Applied Statistics obtained from the Midlands State University.
Tinotenda Andrew Borerwe is a development practitioner, specializing in Monitoring and Evaluation. He holds a degree in Development Studies from Midlands State University, a special honors degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from Lupane State University, and a master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from Lupane state university. I have 4 years of experience participating in community development work. I have advanced skills in community engagement, project monitoring, and evaluation, and an outstanding passion for helping communities to explore their needs, and abilities and agree on solutions. I am highly skilled in, data collection using KoBo collect, ODK, Epi Info, and DFSA stream, analysis using SPSS, Training, designing monitoring, and Evaluation tools.
Hazvinei Matiwona is a holder of Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Accounting from the National University of Science and Technology. She has 4 years working experience in the field of Finance and Accounting with exceptional skills in documenting, processing and managing financial transactions for donor funded projects.
